Employee benefits in public sector organizations

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce s názvem „Zaměstnanecké benefity v organizacích veřejného sektoru“ bylo zjistit, jaké zaměstnanecké benefity poskytují organizace vybrané oblasti veřejného sektoru svým pracovníkům a nakolik poskytované benefity odpovídají potřebám a preferencím pracovníků dané oblasti veřejného sektoru. Teoretická část se zabývá teoretickými východisky odměňování pracovníků zaměstnaneckými benefity včetně motivace a odměňování pracovníků. Praktická část prezentuje výsledky dvou dílčích empirických výzkumů zaměřených na poskytované zaměstnanecké benefity pracovníkům na krajských úřadech České republiky. Na základě získaných výsledků empirických výzkumů jsou formulována manažersky využitelná doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis called ´Employee Benefits in Public Sector Organizations´ was to find out what employee benefits are provided by organizations of the selected area of the public sector to their employees and whether the set of provided employee benefits corresponds to the needs and preferences of employees in the given area of the public sector. The theoretical part deals with the theoretical basis of remuneration of employees with employee and remuneration benefits, including employee motivation. The practical part presents the results of two partial empirical research focused on employee benefits provided to employees at regional authorities in the Czech Republic. Based on the results of empirical research, there are formulated managerially usable recommendations.
