Hlavným cieľom bakalárskej práce je priblížiť menovú politiku centrál-nej banky Spojeného kráľovstva v čase globálnej pandémie. Predmetom je poskytnúť komplexný prehľad nástrojov a opatrení, ktorými sa centrálna banka zamerala na vzniknutú situáciu.
