Stylized procedures of displaying nudity and erotic scenes in a film

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabývám způsoby stylizace zobrazování nahoty a erotických scén v hraném filmu. V první části práce popisuji základní pojmy a vymezuji erotický film od pornografického. Dále se zabývám stručnou filmovou historií. Pojednávám o vývoji erotických scén ve filmu a také o školní filmové výchově na našem území. Dále následuje kapitola o multimodální sémiotické analýze, kterou budu následně provádět. V druhé části práce jsou především analýzy filmových scén. U vybraných filmů stručně popisuji děj a následně analyzuji erotické scény, které se v nich objevují. Každá scéna má i shrnutí, ve kterém jsou uvedeny nejdůležitější jevy. Z provedených analýz je odvozeno vlastní rozdělení těchto filmových postupů. Také jsem vytvořila stupnici, podle míry nahoty, která se ve filmech objevuje. Na tuto kapitolu navazuje koncipování klasifikace audiovizuálních produktů podle věkových skupin v ČR. Uvádím zde možné řešení, které by mohlo zmírnit negativní dopad na děti a mladistvé kvůli nevhodným filmovým obsahům objevujících se v televizním vysílání.

Abstract:

In this undergraduate thesis I deal with stylized methods of depicting nudity and erotic scenes in a film. In the first part of the work I describe the basic terminology and determine the differences between an erotic and a pornographic film. Next I focus on the brief film history. I discuss the development of erotic scenes in a film and also a film education in our territory. The next chapter includes multimodal semiotic analysis which I carry out afterwards. In the second part of the thesis there are mainly analysis of the film scenes. In the chosen films I briefly describe a story and then analyse erotic scenes, which appear in them. Each scene have a summary containing the most important events. From the conducted analyses the proper division of these film methods is derived. I also created a scale of the degree of nudity appearing in the films. This chapter is followed by the creating of the classification of audio-visual products by age groups in the Czech Republic. I present a possible solution which might reduce a negative impact on children and adolescents caused by an inappropriate film contents broadcasted on television.
