Kinematics analysis of baseball swing

Abstract:

Díky kinematické analýze baseballového švihu se pokusíme určit a ověřit optimální umístění stativu s míčkem. Existuje mnoho instruktážních videí, názorů a příruček kde trefovat míč. Pro eliminování okolních vlivů budeme pálit stojící míč na stativu v různých místech ve strike zóně. Tato místa budou vždy ve středu strike zóny, avšak pro demonstraci různého časování pálkaře bude toto místo postupně čtyřicet centimetrů, dvacet centimetrů, nula centimetrů, mínus dvacet centimetrů, mínus čtyřicet centimetrů vzhledem k přední hraně mety. Postupným měřením zjistíme rychlost pálky v těchto jednotlivých místech a rychlost odpáleného míče bezprostředně po kontaktu.

Abstract:

Thanks to kinematic analysis of the baseball swing we will try to identify and verify the optimal placement of the tee with the ball. There are many instructional videos, opinions and guides where to hit the ball. To eliminate ambient influences, we will hit the ball on a tee at various locations in the strike zone. This place will always be in the middle of the strike zone, but to demonstrate the different timing of batter this place will graduate forty centimeters, twenty centimeters, zero centimetres, minus twenty centimeters, minus forty centimeters relative to the front edge of the home plate. We will measure speed of the bat and ball in each of these locations immediately after contact.
