Bakalářská práce se zabývá příčinami a průběhem války v Abcházii a Jižní Osetii. Zkoumá, zda byla válka ovlivněna vztahy Gruzie s Ruskem a zda jí Rusko nevyužívalo k udržení svého vlivu na Kavkazu. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část je věnovaná rusko-gruzínským vztahům a jejich historické podmíněnosti. Abstract:
The thesis deals with the causes and process of the war in Abkhazia and South Ossetia. It examine whether the war was affected by relations with Russia and Georgia and whether Russia were used to it to maintain its influence in the Caucasus. The thesis is divided into three parts.
