Diplomová práce se zabývá videoartem, jako jednou z hlavních složek současného uměleckého proudu. Toto téma je ukotveno skrze nahlédnutí do historie. Práce se zabývá jedním ze znaků, kterým se vyznačují videa skupiny DMA a tou je absurdita. Téma absurdity je popsáno jak z historického hlediska, tak i v dílech uměleckých osobností. This thesis deals video art, as one of the main components of contemporary artistic currents. This topic is anchored through insight into history. This work deals with one of features that characterizes the band´s videos DMA and that is absurd. Topic absurdity is described both from a historical perspective, as in the works of artists.
