Canistherapy and its use in homes for the elderly

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Canisterapie a její využití v domovech pro seniory se zabývá teoretickým vymezením pojmu zooterapie a canisterapie, jejich historií, popisem metod, forem a technik. Opomenuty nejsou také organizace, které se canisterapií zabývají, metodika této práce, legislativa a hlavně účastníci canisterapie. Zvláštní část je pak věnována přímo praktikování canisterapie v domovech pro seniory.

Abstract:

The graduation theses Canistherapy and it´s use in homes for the elderly deals with theoretical determination of the term zootherapy and canistherapy, it´s history, description of methods and technics it uses. There are also mentioned organisations engaged in canistherapy as well as methods canistherapy uses, legislature and mainly users of canistherapy in my work. There is a separete part directly dealing with practising of canistherapy in senior homes.
