Predmetom tejto diplomovej práce je snaha ozrejmiť čitateľovi v teoretickej aj praktickej rovine postup vytvárania projektu uchádzajúceho sa o finančnú podporu z fondov EÚ. Teoretická časť v skratke vysvetľuje ciele a nástroje európskej regionálnej politiky a podáva obsiahly výklad o procese vytvárania projektov podľa požiadaviek EÚ.
