Práce se zabývá právem na život a trestnými činy proti životu, jež jsou součástí nového českého trestního zákoníku, který nabyl účinnosti 1. 1. 2010. Práce je rozčleněna do tří kapitol. The final thesis deals with right to life and crimes against life in new Czech Penal Code, which came into effect on 1. January 2010. The work is divided into three chapters.
