The role of radiological assistant in the awareness of the patient before and during its preparation for examination by magnetic resonance

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá úlohou radiologického asistenta především v oblasti informovanosti pacienta před vyšetřeními magnetickou rezonancí (MR). Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část objasňuje pojem radiologický asistent a dále se zaměřuje na základní princip magnetické rezonance, vyšetřovací postupy, výhody a nevýhody MR, kontraindikace k vyšetření a také jaká je příprava pacienta. V praktické části jsem pomocí dotazníku prováděla výzkumné šetření o informovanosti pacientů před vyšetřeními magnetickou rezonancí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a role of a radiologist assistant primarily how well a patient is informed prior to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination. The Bachelor´s thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part clarifies who actually a radiologist assistant is and futher it is focused on basic principle of magnetic resonance imaging, medical examination methods, advantages and disadvantages of MRI, contraindication and patient preparation for radiology examination. The practical part of this thesis is focused on questionnaire analysis how well patients are informed prior to MRI examination.
