Tato diplomová práce se zabývá portfoliem, nástrojem pro rozvoj sebehodnocení žáků, v hodinách anglického jazyka. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na představení potřebných pojmů, jako je hodnocení a evaluace, sebehodnocení, portfolio v kontextu všeobecného vzdělávání i výuky anglického jazyka.
