Inventories Stocktaking and Settlement

Abstract:

Inventory stock taking is very important part of company final accountancy. Without stocktaking bookkeeping in corporation would lost its informative value. With inventory stocktaking corporation determines the difference between the actual situation and accounting inventories. The thesis deal with inventory stock taking and its settlement in investigated corporation that is doing accountancy in double entry book keeping. First chapter focuses on digest of inventories and its partitions from business assets point of view, inventory characteristic, inventory management and theoretical definition of corporate inventories. Second chapter analyze data obtained from account evidence from actual inventory levels captured in inventory list. Third chapter provides a summary of the proposals for dealing with the settlement of inventory stocks in the corporation.

Abstract:

Inventarizácia zásob je veľmi dôležitá súčasť účtovnej závierky podniku. Bez vykonanej inventarizácie by účtovníctvo podniku stratilo svoju výpovednú hodnotu. Pomocou inventarizácie zásob podnik zisťuje rozdiel medzi skutočným stavom a účtovným stavom zásob. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá inventarizáciou zásob a jej vysporiadaním v skúmanom podniku účtujúcim v sústave podvojného účtovníctva. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na literárny prehľad zásob, jej rozdelenie z pohľadu majetku podniku, charakteristiku zásob, riadenie zásob a teoretické vymedzenie inventarizácie zásob v podniku. Druhá kapitola analyzuje údaje získané z účtovnej evidencie skúmaného podniku a zo skutočných stavov zásob zachytených v inventúrnych súpisoch. Tretia kapitola prináša zhrnutie porovnaných údajov a návrhy na riešenie vysporiadania inventarizácie zásob v skúmanom podniku.
