Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce bolo poskytnúť ucelený pohľad na zložitý systém bánk a na ich postavenie a význam v ekonomickom systéme. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol. Obsahuje deväť tabuliek, osem grafov a štyri schémy. V prvej kapitole je charakterizovaný bankový systém a jeho delenie z rôznych hľadísk.
