Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zjištění postojů sociálních pracovníků pracujících se žadateli o mezinárodní ochranu v České republice k bariérám při získávání legálního zaměstnání, na které naráží tato skupina cizinců. V teoretické části jsou popsána východiska této práce vztahující se k tématu bariér při získávání legálního zaměstnání v případě žadatelů o mezinárodní ochranu v České republice a k činostem sociálních pracovníků při podpoře dané skupiny klientů ve vstupu na trh práce. Ve výzkumné části se zabývám postoji sociálních pracovníků pracujících s žadateli o mezinárodní ochranu v České republice k bariérám při získávání legálního zaměstnání, s nimiž se setkává tato skupina cizinců. V rámci výzkumu postojů jsem zjistila, že sociální pracovníci o řadě bariér vycházejících z prostředí smýšlejí negativně, nicméně emočně intenzivněji prožívají střety s bariérami, na jejichž vzniku mají podíl samotní žadatelé o mezinárodní ochranu. Pro konativní postoj sociálních pracovníků je typické, že se vždy snaží intervenovat ve prospěch svých klientů a hájit jejich zájmy. Výzkumem jsem také zjistila, že na utváření postojů sociálních pracovníků má vliv interakce s kolegy v zaměstnání, chování klientů, průběh jednání s institucemi a také častost střetu s jednotlivými bariérami.

Abstract:

The Master’s thesis is aimed to discover the attitudes of social workers who deal with the applicants for an international protection in the Czech Republic towards the obstacles connected with the process of getting a legal job that affect this group of foreigners. The theoretical part is focused on the description of the start basis of the thesis related to the topic of obstacles connected with the process of getting a legal job concerning the applicants for the international protection in the Czech Republic and to the social workers’ activities concerning the support of this group which enters the labour market. In the research part I deal with the attitudes of social workers who work with the applicants for the international protection in the Czech Republic towards the obstacles connected with the process of getting a legal job that affect this group of foreigners. During my research, which consisted in studying the attitudes, I found out that social workers have a negative point of view towards the obstacles caused by the social environment, nevertheless they react more emotionally towards the obstacles partially caused by the applicants of the international protection themselves. A characteristic “to do” behaviour of social workers is to be on their client’s side and to protect the client’s interests. My further research also revealed that the main influences on the attitudes of social workers are interaction with the colleagues at work, client’s behaviour, development of negotiation with institutions and frequency of having to face an individual obstacle.
