Comparison of stutterers and intact person speech temporal characteristics.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Komparace temporálních charakteristik projevu osoby trpící balbuties a projevu zástupce intaktní populace“ pojednává o individuálních rysech řečového projevu balbutika v porovnání s řečovým projevem intaktního mluvčího. Tato práce je zaměřena na temporální stránku řeči, tedy na mluvní a artikulační tempo a jeho průběh a to především z toho důvodu, že právě temporální organizace řeči je jedním z nejpostiženějších faktorů projevu balbutika.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis „Comparison of stutterers and intact person speech temporal characteristics” deals with individual features of a stutterer’s speech compared to a speech of an intact person. As the temporal organization of speech is the most impaired element of a stutterer’s speech, this thesis is focused on temporal characteristics of the speech production, namely on the speech rate, the articulation rate and the local articulation rate.
