Development of the natural changes of the inhabitants in the evangelic parish Dolní Bludovice in 19th century

Abstract:

Práce si klade za cíl na základě studia dosavadní literatury a použití historickodemografických pramenů postihnout vývoj protestantského obyvatelstva farnosti Dolní Bludovice v letech 1791-1910. Pozornost je soustředěna na vývoj přirozené měny obyvatelstva a na její analýzu na základě agregativní excerpce církevních matrik. Zjištěných dat bylo užito ke srovnávání dlouhé časové řady počtů zemřelých, sňatků a narozených a k provedení základních historicko-statistických výpočtů. Dílo popisuje základní změny v demografickém vývoji, které se udály v souvislosti s průmyslovou revolucí a s ní spojenou vysokou migrací do ostravsko-karvinské průmyslové oblasti, na jejímž území se bludovická evangelická farnost i obce k ní přifařené nacházely.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to describe the development of the Protestant population of the parish Dolní Bludovice between 1791-1910 based on thorough studies of existing literature and use of historical-demographic sources. The thesis concentrates on the development of natural changes of inhabitants and its analysis is based on aggregative excerps church registers. The data was used to comparison of long terms of birth rate, marriage rate and death rate, but also to make basic historical statical calculations. The work analyses basic changes in demographic development which took place in connection with the Industrial Revolution and the associated high migration in Ostrava-Karvina industrial areas, on which territory the evangelical parish Dolní Bludovice and municipalities assigned to the parish were situated.
