Analysis of Services Provided by American Airlines and Aeroflot

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu služeb, které poskytují letecké společnosti American Airlines a Aeroflot. Cílem je zjistit a vyznačit patrné rozdíly v oblasti poskytovaných služeb, jež jsou nabízeny na letištích a během letu. Práce je rozdělena do 8 kapitol. Prvotní kapitoly se snaží zařadit leteckou společnost jako osobního dopravce do systému letecké dopravy a jsou zde povrchově popsány a zkoumány jednotlivé letadlové parky. Také jsou zde zmíněna členství v leteckých aliancích a vízové povinnosti do Spojených států amerických a Ruské federace. Ústřední část práce se věnuje porovnávání, analýze a syntéze poskytovaných služeb, jež jsou v různých cestovních třídách nabízeny v jiné kvalitě. Závěrečná část práce, která je založená na uživatelských recenzích, pojednává o spokojenosti cestujících s nabízenými službami.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of services provided by the airlines American Airlines and Aeroflot. The aim of this thesis is to ascertain and highlight evident differences in the field of services provided by those airlines either at airports or during their flights. This thesis is divided into eight chapters. The first few chapters aim to classify the airlines discussed to the air transport systém and also there are and individual fleets briefly described and examined. In the first chapters, there is also information about memberships in air alliances as well as visa requirements to both, the US and to the Russian Federation mentioned. The main part of the thesis is focused on comparison, analysis and synthesis of the services provided in the different quality classes of individual airlines. The final part of this thesis which is based on the user´s reviews is focused on the traveller´s satisfaction about the pre-flight, in-flight and after-flight services offered.
