This thesis deals with a russian seaway - Northern Sea Route and its potential for maritime oil transport. Táto práca sa zaoberá ruskou námornou cestou Northern Sea Route a jej potenciálom pre námornú prepravu ropy. Za cieľ si kladie zistiť, či je možný čiastočný presun tankerovej prepravy na túto trasu a aký vplyv by mal takýto presun na dopravné uzly, tzv. chokepoints, ktoré sa nachádzajú na súčasných prepravných trasách.
