The attitude of social workers and its impact on primary prevention programs

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zjištění postojů sociálních pracovníků k programům primární prevence a vliv jejich postoje na žádoucí efekty u žáků základních škol. V teoretické části jsou popsána východiska této práce, která se týkají sociálních pracovníků. Jsou zde definovány pojmy jako postoj, primární prevence a také efekt primární prevence na žáky. V metodické části je zdůvodněna kvalitativní výzkumná strategie. Výzkum je realizován s osmi sociálními pracovníky pomocí hloubkového rozhovoru a metody focus group. V interpretační části jsou interpretovány výsledky výzkumu. Dále je zde odpovězeno na dílčí výzkumné otázky. Data jsou interpretována podle jednotlivých složek postojů a pojmů s nimi souvisejících. V závěru je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka a jsou zde uvedena doporučení pro praxi a další výzkum.

Abstract:

My thesis focuses on the attitudes of social workers to the programmes of primary prevention and influence of their attitudes to the desirable effects of pupils of primary school. There are described backgrounds of this work in the theoretical part of this thesis, which relates to social workers. There are defined concepts such as attitude, primary prevention and also primary prevention effect on pupils. In the methodological part there is justified qualitative research strategy. The research is implemented with eight social workers by in-depth interviews and by focus group method. Interpretations of the results of research are processed in the interpretative part. There are also answers on the research questions. The data are interpreted according to the individual components of attitudes and notions related to them. In conclusion, the main research question is answered, and there are recommendations for practice and further research.
