Tree seedling establishment in the mesic secondary forests.

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo zjistit trendy v uchycování semenáčků v sekundárních lesních porostech na mesickém stanovišti a následně se pokusit odhadnout další pravděpodobný vývoj těchto porostů. Terénní práce probíhaly od března do října 2016 na celkem 37 lokalitách. Na všech lokalitách byly zhotoveny fytocenologické snímky, odebrány vzorky půd, spočteny a změřeny všechny nalezené semenáčky. Ze vzrostlých stromů na lokalitách byly získány pomocí Presslerova nebozezu vzorky dřeva pro následnou letokruhovou analýzu. Každá lokalita byla detekována pomocí zeměpisných souřadnic, charakterizována nadmořskou výškou, sklonem, expozicí a bylo zjištěno okolí lokalit (přítomnost pole, lesa, louky či rybníku). Půdní podmínky byly zjišťovány z odebraného směsného vzorku půdy. Pro statistickou analýzu všech získaných dat byl využíván statistický program Canoco v. 5. Ordinačními metodami byla testována závislost druhového složení bylinného patra, stromového patra a výšky a počtu semenáčků stromů na studovaných faktorech prostředí.

Abstract:

The research fieldworks were performed at 37 sites from March 2016 to October 2016. The phytocenological reléves were made at each locality to describe the herb layer composition together with counting and measuring of all found tree seedlings. Further were gained soil samples from each site. The tree samples were taken using the Pressler gimlet in order to make the following annual-rings analysis. Each locality was defined by detecting GPS coordinates, characterized by the altitude, inclination, exposition and by describing the land cover (forest, pond, grassland, arable land) in surrounded perimeter of 100 m. The statistical program Canoco 5 was used to analyze all the accquired data. It was searched for the relation of herb layer, tree layer and seedlings to the limiting factors. The RDA analysis of heights and diameters of the seedlings showed the probable influence of soil conditions (especially the ratio of carbon to nitrogen, total nitrogen and soil organic matter), altitude, surroundings and age of the tree layer on the composition of tree seedlings.
