Analysis of the Capital Structure in the Czech Business Environment in Terms of Indebtedness

Abstract:

Cíl bakalářské práce spočívá v porovnání kapitálové struktury největších českých podniků v šesti různých odvětvích s průměrnou kapitálovou strukturou za celé odvětví.Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. V první, metodické části jsou rozebrány hlavní složky kapitálové struktury, náklady spojené s určitým druhem tohoto kapitálu a základní ukazatele zadluženosti a rentability. Také je zde stručně popsán vývoj kapitálové struktury v ČR a charakteristika odvětví, která budou dále sledována. V druhé, praktické části je v každém odvětví provedeno srovnání hodnot vybraných ukazatelů u 3 největších podniků a u podniků ze vzorku 95 velkých společností s průměrnými hodnotami za celé odvětví. V závěru práce jsou zhodnocena získaná data a postavení největších společností na českém trhu.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis consists in comparison of capital structure of the biggest Czech enterprises in six various sectors with average capital structure of the whole sector.The thesis is divided into two main parts. In the first, methodological part are analysed main components of the capital structure, the costs associated with a certain type of the capital and the basic indicators of indebtedness and profitability. There is also briefly described development of the capital structure in the Czech Republic and the characteristics of the sectors which be further monitored. In the second, practical part are compared values of selected indicators of the three biggest enterprises and of sample of 95 big enterprises with average values of the whole sector. At the end of the thesis obtained data and position of the biggest enterprises on the Czech market are evaluated.
