Abstract:

Stěžejním tématem absolventské práce je výkon sociální práce v lůžkovém hospici. Druhým tématem, které práce sleduje, jsou opatření zavedená v nouzových stavech, vyhlášených z důvodu výskytu onemocnění COVID-19 na území České republiky. Cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit a popsat, jak se proměnila činnost sociálního pracovníka v lůžkovém hospici, v souvislosti s opatřeními zavedenými v pandemii onemocnění COVID-19, a identifikovat využitelnost změn i mimo období pandemie. Konceptuální část práce se věnuje pojmům, které je třeba znát pro stanovení základu výzkumného šetření. Samotné výzkumné šetření je založeno na kvalitativní strategii a analýze polo-strukturovaných rozhovorů, které byly zpracovány metodou zakotvené teorie. Empirická část absolventská práce prezentuje zkušenosti vybraných sociálních pracovníků, působících v lůžkových hospicích, s výkonem povolání v krizové situaci. Zkušenosti jsou rozděleny do kategorií a subkategorií, což umožňuje výsledky vnímat na různých úrovních, dle toho, v jaké oblasti působení sociálního pracovníka se změny odehrávaly. Práce slouží jako záznam situace, která se odehrála v aktuálním čase. Prezentované výsledky mohou být inspirací dalším sociálním pracovníkům. Mimo zjištění toho, jaké změny mohou v jejich práci nastat, se čtenář také dozví, kde je možné v těžkých situacích hledat oporu.

Abstract:

The main topic of the thesis is the practice of social work profession in a hospice. The theses secondly deals with the restrictions that were established during the state of emergency declared due to the presence of Covid-19 in Czech Republic. The goal of the research was to seek out and describe the changes in the work process of a social worker in a hospice that occurred due to the restrictions established in the Covid-19 pandemic, and to identify any sustainability of these changes. The conceptual part of the thesis is dedicated to the description of the terms that are connected to the research. The research itself is based on a qualitative strategy and the analysis of the semi-structured interviews that were analyzed through the method of the grounded theory. The empirical part of the thesis represents the sample of the chosen social workers that work in a hospice and their personal experience with practicing their profession in a crisis situation. The experience is divided into categories and subcategories based on which area of the job scope was affected. The thesis represents an evidence of a situation that took place in the current times. The presented data offer inspiration to other social workers. Besides learning about the changes that can occur in their job scope, there is also an opportunity to find out where to seek support in challenging situations.
