Natural products to support the healthy course of pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje aplikaci metod přírodní lékárny do období těhotenství, poro-du a šestinedělí. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá popisem jednotlivých metod aromaterapie, homeopatie a bylinné lékárny s konkrétními pří-klady. Každá z metod obsahuje zařazení jednotlivých forem v období těhotenství, porodu a šestinedělí. Praktická část se zaměřuje na kvantitativní výzkum. Cílem dotazníkového šetření je ověřit zkušenosti žen se zařazením metod v těhotenství, při porodu a v šestinedělí. V závěru práce předkládáme výsledky výzkumu, které dokazují nejčastější využívání přírod-ních metod v období šestinedělí. Ženy prokázaly většinovou spokojenost s účinky přírodních metod a jako nejvyužívanější metodu zvolily bylinky. Výzkum dále prokázal, že porodní asistentka se ve využívání přírodních metod ve zdravotnickém zařízení spíše nezapojovala.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the application of natural pharmacy methods to pregnancy, childbirth, and the puerperium. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the description of each of the methods of aromatherapy, homeopathy and herbal pharmacy with specific examples. Each of the methods includes the inclusion of each modality in the period of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium. The practi-cal part focuses on quantitative research. The aim of the questionnaire survey is to examine women's experiences with the inclusion of methods during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. At the end of the paper we present the results of the research, which prove the most frequent use of natural methods during the puerperium. Women showed majority satis-faction with the benefits of natural methods and chose herbs as the most used method. The research further showed that midwives were rather uninvolved in the use of natural methods in the health facility.
