The consequences of social conventions on life stories of women in the works of Theodor Fontane
Abstract:
This master thesis deals with the German social novels of the 19th century. The main objective was the analysis of four selected works of one author - Theodor Fontane and subsequent comparison. Analyzed the work of Stina, Effi Briestová, Yearning trouble and adulteress with regard to consequences of social conventions on the lives of the main heroines in the selected works.
Abstract:
Tato magisterská práce se zabývá německým společenským románem 19. století. Hlavním cílem byla analýza čtyř zvolených děl jednoho autora – Theodora Fontana a jejich následné srovnání. Analyzována byla díla Stina, Effi Briestová, Toužení soužení a Cizoložnice s ohledem na následky společenských konvencí na životy hlavních hrdinek ve vybraných dílech.
