Expanding an individual's business into a family business

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na posouzení podnikatelského záměru rozšíření současného konceptu podnikání jednotlivce do podnikání rodinné firmy v oblasti rukodělné výroby. V teoretické části jsou představeny základní pojmy objasňující problematiku rodinného podnikání a trend růstu poptávky na trhu s rukodělnými výrobky. Rešerše obsahuje také teoretický rámec pro tvorbu podnikatelského plánu a průzkumu trhu. Další část práce popisuje podrobný podnikatelský plán rozšíření podnikatelské činnosti do rodinné živnosti a následně do rodinné firmy. Podnikání je zaměřeno na výrobu a prodej ručně pletených módních doplňků, šité módy a dřevěných výrobků. Výroba bude zajištěna 3 společníky se zapojením členů jedné rodiny. Prodej bude probíhat pomocí online prostředí s využitím sociálních sítí. Podle zjištěných poznatků lze předpokládat, že podnikatelský záměr rozšíření podnikání do rodinné firmy je realizovatelný a má reálnou šanci na úspěch. Činnost však není výrazně výnosná. Cílem tohoto typu podnikání je tak primárně seberealizace a uspokojení z fungujícího konceptu rodinné firmy.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the business plan of extending the current concept of individual entrepreneurship into the family business in the market of handmade products. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts explaining the issues of family business and the trend of increasing demand in the handmade market. It also contains a theoretical framework for creating a business plan and market research.The practical part describes a detailed business plan of business expansion into a family business. The business is focused on the production and sale of handmade knitting fashion accessories, sewing fashion and wooden products. Production will be provided by 3 partners, who are also members of one family. Sales will take place in an online environment using social networks. According to the findings it can be assumed that the business plan of expanding business into a family business is feasible and it has a real chance of success. However, the activity is nor very profitable. The goal of this type of business is primarily self-fulfilment and satisfaction from functioning family business.
