Práce se zabývá pohledem Evropského výboru proti mučení (CPT) na provádění chirugických kastrací sexuálních delikventů v České republice. V práci je zkoumán především vliv zpráv CPT na zavedenou praxi provádění chirurgických kastrací. Práce rozebírá zprávy CPT o návštěvě ČR z let 2006 a 2008 a reakci česká vlády na ně. Abstract:
The presented thesis deals with the opinion of Council of Europe anti-torture Committee of performing surgical castrations of sexual offenders in the Czech Republic. Above all, the thesis examines the influence of CPT´s reports on established practise of performing surgical castrations.
