The care of surgical instruments during the perioperative care

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá péčí o instrumentárium v perioperační péči. Skládá se z části teoretické a výzkumné. Teoretická část se věnuje kompetencím perioperační sestry / porodní asistentky, legislativě v perioperační péči, jsou zde popsány některé vybrané chirurgické nástroje a jejich využití. Dále se diplomová práce věnuje také dezinfekci, předsterilizační přípravě a sterilizaci. Výzkumná část se skládá z výzkumného šetření zaměřeného na hodnocení kvality péče o instrumentárium ve vybraném zdravotnickém zařízení. Zároveň je cílem práce posoudit znalosti a připravenost studujících specializačního studia Perioperační péče v gynekologii a porodnictví v oblasti péče o instrumentárium.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is concerned with the maintenance of surgical instruments during the perioperative care. The work is composed of a theoretical and an investigative part. The theoretical part attends to the competencies of a perioperative nurse / a midwife and to the legislation in perioperative care. There are also described some chosen surgical instruments and their use. The thesis also attends to the disinfection, the presterilized preparation and the sterilization itself. The investigative part is composed of the investigation which is focused on the evaluation of the quality of the surgical instruments and their care in a chosen medical centre. The aim of this work is also to evaluate the knowledge and readiness of the students of Perioperative care in gynaecology and midwifery in the sphere of the instruments care.
