Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na téma edukace diabetiků I. a II. typu, zkoumá znalosti pacientů v běžné diabetologické ambulanci a lůžkových odděleních a reakce respondentů na akutní komplikace a znalosti chronických komplikací tohoto závažného onemocnění. Bakalářská práce se dělí na část teoretickou a na část praktickou. Teoretická část zahrnuje rozdělení typů diabetu podle etiologie, popisuje patofyziologii této nemoci, léčbu, akutní a chronické komplikace. Její součástí je také definice a formy edukačního procesu. Praktická část vyhodnocuje pomocí dotazníkového šetření znalosti pacientů ve dvou srovnávacích skupinách.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on education of patients with diabetes I. and II. type, examines patient´s knowledge in diabetological clinic and in inpatient wards, reaction of respondents to acute complications and knowledge of chronic complications of this serious disease. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes the division of diabetes types according to etiology, describes the pathophysiology of this disease, treatment, acute and chronic complications. It also includes the definition and forms of the educational process. The practical part evaluates the knowledge of patients in two comparative groups using a questionnaire survey.
