The Crime on Suicide and Related Aspects

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice trestného činu účasti na sebevraždě a s tím souvisejícím aspektům. Velká pozornost je obracena také na problematiku eutanázie, která s účastí na sebevraždě souvisí. Mezi související aspekty je zařazen také historický vývoj dané právní úpravy a problematika sebevražd. Cílem práce je popsat současné i historické pojetí daných témat, shromáždit poznatky související s účastí na sebevraždě, zpracovat a zhodnotit statistické údaje, zamyslet se nad jednotlivými aspekty a vyvodit své vlastní závěry a v závěru práce předestřít náměty de lege ferenda.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of crime on suicide and relat-ed aspects. Attention is also drawn to the issue of euthanasia which is cohere to the crime on suicide. Thesis includes the historical develop-ment of the legislation and the issue of suicides as well. The aim of the thesis is to describe current and historical concepts of these topics, gather knowledge related to the crime on suicide, process and assess some of the statistics, consider related aspects and deduce own conclu-sions and findings and finally suggest the proposals de lege ferenda.
