Analysis of Financial Literacy among High School Students

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce s názvem „Analýza finanční gramotnosti studentů středních škol“ je analyzovat finanční gramotnost studentů na středních školách s odlišným zaměřením a zjistit do jaké míry zaměření školy, kterou navštěvují, ovlivňuje jejich úroveň finanční gramotnosti. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretické vymezení pojmu „finanční gramotnost“. Ve druhé části je charakterizován provedený výzkum na jednotlivých školách pomocí dotazníkového šetření. V poslední části jsou pak analyzovány a interpretovány výsledky dotazníku pomocí popisných statistik a regresí.

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor thesis “Analysis of Financial Literacy among High School Students” is to analyse financial literacy of high school students with different fields of study and examine how much the field influences their level of financial literacy. The first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical definitions of the term “financial literacy.“ The research from a different type of schools is characterized in the second part of the thesis. It was carried out by a questionnaire survey. The analysis and interpretation of the survey outcomes by the descriptive statistics and regressions are contained in the final part.
