Rozvoj řízení udržitelné výkonnosti výrobních podniků vybranými metodami Performance Management

Abstract:

Autorka se v disertační práci zabývá problémy, jež jsou spojené s řízením udržitelné výkonnosti středně velkých výrobních podniků působících v České republice. Nejprve je zmapován vývoj nazírání tuzemských i zahraničních autorů na hlavní pojmy související s výzkumným tématem. Z hlediska času i skupin zainteresovaných na výsledcích finančního zdraví a výkonnosti podniku jsou zachyceny hlavní milníky ve vymezování základních pojmů konkurenceschopnost a výkonnost podniku a odborných termínů odvozených od podnikové konkurenceschopnosti a výkonnosti. Diskutovány a kriticky zhodnoceny jsou nosné myšlenky nejznámějších a nejužívanějších přístupů k měření a řízení podnikové výkonnosti v praxi České republiky ve vztahu k posilování významu společensky odpovědného chování a měření a řízení udržitelné výkonnosti výrobních podniků. Je diskutována otázka aplikovatelnosti ekonomické přidané hodnoty v podnikové praxi České republiky jakožto konceptu pro řízení krátko- i dlouhodobě udržitelné výkonnosti podniku, úskalí algoritmu tohoto přístupu a možnosti řešení pro podnikovou praxi středních výrobních podniků České republiky. Jsou analyzovány výsledky národních i mezinárodních výzkumů zkoumajících využití metod a nástrojů pro měření a řízení výkonnosti středně velkých podniků v praxi. V návaznosti na zjištění v teoretické části práce jsou následně prezentovány a zhodnoceny výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu, jenž byl realizován formou dotazníkového šetření u vybrané skupiny respondentů. Finanční účetní, pracovníci controllingového oddělení a manažeři podniku objasnili, jak současná podniková praxe (středně velké výrobní podniky působící v České republice) přistupuje k finanční teorií známým přístupům k měření a řízení podnikové výkonnosti. Na základě výsledků dotazníkového šetření a provedené kritické literární rešerše je následně navržen model řízení udržitelné výkonnosti výrobních podniků střední velikosti (středních účetních jednotek), včetně jeho předpokladů, omezujících faktorů a metodiky jeho implementace do podnikové praxe formou případové studie.

Abstract:

Author of the submitted PhD thesis follows up the problems associated with management of the sustainable performance level within the medium-sized manufacturing companies operating in the Czech Republic. First of all development of domestic and foreign authors´ perceptions on the main technical terms related to the chosen research topic is charted. From the point of view of time and the perspective of users and decision makers interested in the results of the enterprise financial health and performance, the major milestones in defining the basic concepts of enterprise competitiveness and performance and technical terms derived from them are captured. The principal ideas of the most popular and used approaches to the enterprise performance measurement and management in practice of the Czech Republic are discussed. They are also critically evaluated in relation to the strengthening of the socially responsible behaviour and the sustainable performance measurement and management of manufacturing companies. The applicability of the economic value added tool in Czech enterprise practice as a concept for the short- and long-term sustainable enterprise performance management is discussed. Further the EVA indicator algorithm pitfalls are summarized and discussed and solution options for the medium-sized manufacturing companies in the Czech Republic are searched. Results of significant national and international researches focused on the applicability of various methods and tools for enterprise performance measurement and management in practice are analyzed. Building on the reached key findings - in the introduction to the empirical part of this thesis there are presented realized quantitative research results. A questionnaire survey was chosen as the most suitable form, how to reach data within a selected group of respondents. Financial accountants (bookkeepers), controllers and managers clarified what kind of approach the current enterprise practice (sample of 128 medium-sized manufacturing companies operating in the Czech Republic in Karlovy Vary and Pilsen Region was chosen) adopts to (of the financial theory known) approaches to the corporate sustainable performance measurement and management. On the basis of the questionnaire survey results and the carried out critical literature review the sustainable performance management model of Czech manufacturing companies is subsequently designed. The model proposal includes model´s assumptions, limiting factors and methodology of its implementation performed by the case study.
