Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá operou Hoffmannovy povídky Jacquesa Offenbacha. Rozborem povídek, kterými byla opera inspirována, se snažím najít souvislosti s Hoffmannovým životem. Věnuju se častým motivům v Hoffmannově literární tvorbě, které pronikají i do opery a popisuju pocit tísnivosti, který je často v konfrontaci s Hoffmannovou tvorbou navozen. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the opera The Tales of Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach. By analysing Hoffmann´s stories that inspired the opera, I try to find connections with his life. I dedicate to frequent motives in Hoffmann's literary work, which permeate into the opera and I also describe „the uncanny“, which is often induced by Hoffmann's work.
