The last things of men in Jednota bratrská environment

Abstract:

Práce analyzuje soubor jedenadvaceti pohřebních kázání, jejichž autorem je kněz Jednoty bratrské Jan Chrudimský. Uvádí do problematiky smrti a umírání v pojetí Jednoty bratrské. Práce přináší detajlní rozbor tří kázání o pojetí spásy a očistce. Práce si klade za cíl nejen podrobný rozbor této problematiky, ale snaží se též odpovědět na otázku zda se Chrudimský ve svých kázáních nějak konfesně vymezoval

Abstract:

The present thesis deals with the twenty one funeral sermons of Jan Chrudimský, who was the priest of Unity of Brethren. In the introductory chapter the author presents the topic to be discussed and the method applied. The aim is the problem of Jan Chrudimský´s confessional delimitation and it´s delineation in his sermons. Part one brings basic analysis of all twenty one sermons. The next captures deals detailed analysis of three chosen sermons directed at problem of purgatory, prays for death and revenants. Final chapter brings summary of conclusions and my own opinion
