Activation of clients in retirement home

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je prozkoumat možnosti aktivizace v domově důchodců Lampertice a jaké aktivizační činnosti jsou zde využívány k rozvoji schopností seniorů. Bakalářská práce se zabývá aktivizacemi klientů v domovech pro seniory a jejich uplatněním. Teoretická část se zabývá problematikou stárnutí a stáří, popisuje periodizaci stáří a jaké následují změny ve stáří. Jsou zde uvedeny sociální služby, které poskytuje Česká republika. Poslední kapitola se věnuje aktivizaci a metodám aktivizace v domovech pro seniory. Praktická část vychází z dotazníkového šetření klientů v domově důchodců v Lamperticích. Dále byl navržen projekt k aktivizaci s různými druhy a detailními popisy aktivit. Mezi hlavní získané poznatky se řadí to, že senioři se chtějí účastnit co nejvíce aktivizačních činností, aby neztráceli kontakty s lidmi, nadále se mohli vzdělávat a být soběstační.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to explore the possibilities of activation in the Lampertice retirement home and what activation activities are used here to develop the skills of seniors. The bachelor thesis is dealing with the activation of clients in home for the elderly and their application. The theoretical part is dealing with the issue of aging and old age, describes the periodization of old age and what changes follow in old age. The social services provided by the Czech Republic are listed here. The last chapter deals with activation and activation methods in homes for elderly. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey of clients in home for elderly in Lampertice. Next was proposed a project for activation with different types and detailed descriptions of activities. One of the main findings is that seniors want to participate in as many activation activities as possible so that they do not lose contact with people, can continue their education and be self-sufficient.
