Design of information architecture for a website of a selected company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje návrhu redesignu informační architektury a celkového vzhledu webových stránek společnosti ALADIN agency s.r.o., která působí v odvětví polygrafie. Hlavním cílem této práce je vytvoření nového funkčního a uživatelsky přívětivého webu. Práce je rozdělena do dvou základních částí. První část se věnuje teorii, kterou je nutné pochopit k vytvoření nového designu webových stránek. Poskytuje přehled klíčových konceptů týkajících se uživatelské zkušenosti, uživatelského rozhraní, webového designu a marketingu na internetu. Praktická část se soustředí na analýzu stávajících webových stránek společnosti a stránek konkurence. Zahrnuje představení podniku, audit stávajícího webu a porovnání s konkurencí z pohledu použitelnosti a uživatelské zkušenosti. Na základě získaných poznatků byl v nástroji Figma vytvořen funkční prototyp nového designu, který byl následně podroben uživatelskému testování s využitím specifických scénářů, aby se ověřila efektivita navrhovaných změn a jejich přínos pro zlepšení interakce konečných uživatelů s webem.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the redesign of information architecture and overall appearance of the website of ALADIN agency s.r.o., a company operating in the printing industry. The main objective of this thesis is to create a new functional and user-friendly website. The work is divided into two main parts. The first part is devoted to the theoretical part which is necessary to understand to create a new website design. It provides an overview of key concepts related to user experience, user interface, web design and digital marketing. The practical part focuses on the analysis of existing company websites and competitors' websites. It includes an introduction to the company, an audit of the existing site and a comparison with competitors in terms of usability and user experience. Based on the findings, a functional prototype of the new design was created in Figma, which was then subjected to user testing using specific scenarios to verify the effectiveness of the proposed changes and their contribution to improving end-user interaction with the site.
