Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Implementace požadavků článku 404 zákona Sarbanes-Oxley v podmínkách vybrané obchodní společnosti“ je posouzení vlivu zákona Sarbanes-Oxley na obchodní společnost a analýza způsobu jakým implementuje požadavky článku 404. Nejdříve se práce zaměřuje na teoretické aspekty zákona, včetně jeho vzniku nebo popisu přínosů a nákladů. Dále je představen článek 404 a jeho východiska. Následuje praktická implementace tohoto článku ve vybrané obchodní společnosti a návrh na zlepšení efektivnosti interních kontrol.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor thesis "Implementation of the Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act in the Regulations of the Public Company" is the assessment of Sarbanes-Oxley's impact on the public company and the analysis of the purpose how the public company implements the requirements of the section 404. First, the thesis focuses on the theoretical aspects of the act, including its origin or description of benefits and costs. Furthermore, section 404 and its consequences are introduced. The following part contains a practical implementation of the section 404 in a selected public company and a proposal how to improve the effectiveness of internal controls.
