Práce se zabývá konsolidací režimů ve střední Asii. Zkoumané období od perestrojky(pol.80.let) do roku cca 2000. Rozpad SSSR znamenal pro vládnoucí elity v Uzbekistánu a Kyrgyzstánu nutnost nově se vypořádat s politickou legitimizací, kterou do té doby představovala Moskva a komunistická strana. Abstract:
The thesis is engaged in regime consolidation processes in Central Asia. Time scope is set from perestroika(half of 80´s) to cca 2000. The Soviet Union broke up caused that uzbek and kyrgyz ruling elites had to search new political legitimization, till then it was Moscow and communist party.
