Diplomová práce Objevování moderního umění ve 4. a 5. třídě základní školy je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na výtvarnou výchovu coby školní předmět a jeho pojetí v RVP ZV, dále pak na charakteristiku vývojového období mladšího školního věku a na výběr jednotlivých etap moderního umění.
