Cílem práce je komplexně shrnout současnou situaci české menšiny v Banátu s důrazem na lokální kulturu a faktory, které ji ovlivňují. Již skoro 200 let si česká menšina na jihu Rumunska uchovala národní identitu, český jazyk a živou tradiční lidovou kulturu. The object of this thesis is to provide a complex synthesis of the current situation of the Czech minority in Banat, with focus on local culture and elements which it is effected by. The Czech minority in southern Romania has managed to maintain its nation identity, the Czech language itself and traditional folk culture for almost 200 years.
