A difference in a statutory legislation of the Czech crown and euro and legal remedies against counterfeiting of these currencies

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá měnovou bezpečností, a to zejména z pohledu právních předpisů a ochranných prvků. Pro účely práce byly vybrány dvě měny, euro a česká koruna. Cílem je zanalyzovat jejich právní úpravu a ochranné prvky a následně obě měny porovnat. První část práce se soustředí na grafický popis, ochranné prvky, právní prostředky a judikaturu. Druhá část využívá metodu komparace a snaží se co nejlépe vystihnout shodné a rozdílné faktory obou měn. Závěrečná kapitola se krátce dotýká otázky přijetí eura v České republice.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with a monetary security, especially in terms of legislation and security features. For purposes of the thesis two currencies, euro and the Czech crown, were chosen. The main aim is to analyse and compare these two currencies. The first part of the thesis focuses on a graphic description, security features, legal resources and legal cases. In the second part the method of comparison is used to asses similar and different factors among the two currencies. In the final capitol, there is a brief touch on the issue of euro adoption in the Czech Republic.
