Effect of handicap on social atmosphere of classes in special education.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována pohledu dětí na psychosociální klima tříd speciálních škol. Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu klima školní třídy, jeho spolutvůrce, složky a způsoby měření. Neméně důležitou kapitolou je klima školy. Poslední kapitola teoretické části diplomové práce seznamuje čtenáře s klasifikací handicapů a systémem speciálního školství. Diplomová práce si klade za úkol zjistit, jak handicap žáků speciálních škol ovlivňuje jejich vnímání psychosociálního klimatu třídy a zachytit rozdíly v interpretaci charakteristik třídního klimatu dětí tříd speciálních škol a tříd základních škol běžného typu. Výzkumné šetření je zaměřeno především na rozhovory s dětmi. V závěru jsou diskutovány dosažené výsledky.

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to children´s view of social climate of classrooms in special schools. Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on defining social climate of a classroom and co-creators, components and methods for measuring social climate in classroom. Climate of school is also an important chapter. The last chapter of theoretical part of thesis informes reader about classficiation of handicaps and system of special education. The aim of the thesis is also to discover how handicap of students from special schools influences their perception of social climate of a classroom and describes differences beetween children´s interpretation of characteristics for social climate of classrooms in special schools or ordinary schools. The survey is primarily focused on interviews with children. The results are discussed in the conclusion.
