Podcasting and its platforms as an alternative to traditional radio broadcasting

Abstract:

V současné době se velmi rychle rozšiřuje fenomén podcastingu, který má potenciál nahradit v mnoha ohledech rádiové vysílání. U podcastu, narozdíl od rádia, nemusí posluchač přelaďovat ze své oblíbené stanice nebo čekat až skončí program, který ho nezajímá. Jednoduše přeskočí na časové ose, což u rádia nemůže, nebo si zvolí jinou epizodu aniž by musel změnit autora. Přestože pořady mohou být stejné v rádiu i podcastu, podcast nabízí více možností. Kromě přeskakování v čase má posluchač k dispozici archiv předchozích epizod. Rádiové stanice jsou odkázané na reprízy, u kterých si ale posluchač neurčí kdy je chce poslouchat – buď má čas nebo ne. Dnes již i rádiové stanice nabízejí záznamy online, ale nejedná se už o podcast? Díky technické vyspělosti podcastu na něj přechází i samotná rádia. Dochází tedy k remediaci v reálném čase a je fascinující, že se tohoto procesu můžeme osobně účastnit. Rozšiřování podcastingu jde ruku v ruce s technologickým pokrokem i technickou gramotností společnosti. Díky dostupnosti kvalitních záznamových zařízení, není ani složité začít tvořit vlastní podcasty. Výkonné chytré telefony a rychlý mobilní internet zase dovolují posluchačům konzumovat podcasty odkudkoliv.

Abstract:

At present, the phenomenon of podcasting is spreading very rapidly, which has the potential to replace radio broadcasting in many respects. With a podcast, unlike radio, the listener doesn't have to retune from their favorite station or wait until a program that doesn't interest them ends. He simply skips on the timeline, which he can't do on the radio, or chooses another episode without having to change authors. Although the programs may be the same on the radio and podcast, the podcast offers more options. In addition to skipping in the timeline, the listener has an archive of previous episodes. Radio stations are dependent on reruns, but the listener does not determine when he wants to listen to them - he either has the time or not. Today, radio stations also offer online recordings, but this is no longer a podcast? Thanks to the technical sophistication of the podcast, the radio itself is switching to it. So there is real-time remediation and it is fascinating that we can participate in this process in person. The expansion of podcasting goes hand in hand with the technological progress and technical literacy of the company. With the availability of quality recording equipment, it's not even difficult to start creating your own podcasts. Powerful smartphones and fast mobile internet allow listeners to consume podcasts from anywhere.
