Possessivity in Finnish

Abstract:

Přivlastňování ve finštině Ve své bakalářské diplomové práci jsem se snažila popsat systém přivlastňování ve finštině. Popsala jsem dva způsoby přivlastňování, a to pomocí posesívních sufixů a genitivních tvarů osobních zájmen a pomocí genitivu, které je ve finštině velmi rozšířené. Toto jsem se snažila demonstrovat na ukázkách z beletrie, a to zejména z nejznámějších knih finské literatury, a dále na ukázkách z odborné literatury, zde se jednalo o literaturu s právnickou tematikou, a na ukázkách z finského časopisu. Uvedla jsem možnosti překladu finských genitivních atributů do češtiny, neboť toto je v češtině odlišné. Zmínila jsem se také o dalším použití posesívních sufixů a genitivu, neboť tyto se ve finštině nepoužívají pouze k vyjádření posesivity, ale plní více funkcí. Stručně jsem popsala systém přivlastňování v češtině a na závěr jsem se pokusila o stručné shrnutí rozdílů mezi přivlastňováním ve finštině a přivlastňováním v češtině.

Abstract:

I have tried to describe possessivity in Finnish in my bachelor diploma work. I have described two ways of possessivity in Finnish, namely possessivity by means of possessive sufixes and genitiv forms of personal pronouns and possessivity by means of genitiv that is widely broadened in Finnish. I have demonstrated this on ilustrations of fiction, namely the well-known books of finnish literature, on ilustrations of special literature, it has been juridical literature, and on ilustrations of Finnish magazine. I have introduced possibilities of translation of genitive attributes to Czech, because this is different in Czech. I have also mentioned next using of possessive sufixes and genitive, because these are not used only to expression of possessivity in Finnish but have more functions. Briefly I have described system of possessivity in Czech language. In cloclusion I have tried to summarize differencies between possessivity in Finnish and possessivity in Czech.
