Armanent Exprenses Development and its Result in the World

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou rostoucích globálních výdajů na zbrojení na počátku 21. století. Cílem této práce je nejen analyzovat velikost těchto výdajů a jejich využití, ale především poukázat na možné dopady zvýšené míry zbrojení na bezpečnostní, sociální a ekonomickou situaci ve světě. Vojenské výdaje, jako součást veřejných rozpočtů, totiž mají velmi výrazný vliv nejen na globální bezpečnost, ale mohou nepřímo ovlivňovat situaci i v širokém spektru oblastí veřejného života. Úvodní kapitola je věnována vývoji globální bezpečnostní situace. Další kapitola stručně charakterizuje vývoj výdajů na zbrojení ve světě od skončení druhé světové války až po současnost. V další části práce je proveden rozbor hlavních zbrojních programů v zemích s největšími výdaji na zbrojení a u tzv. problémových států. V následující části je provedena analýza vojenského rozpočtu Armády České republiky. Práci uzavírají kapitoly, které se zabývají vlivem vojenských výdajů na celkovou bezpečnostní a ekonomickou situaci ve světě.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the increasing amount of global armament spending at the beginning of 21st century. The aim of this work is not only to analyze the height and use of the spending but also to show the possible consequences of armament on the security, economic and social situation in the world. Military spending as a part of public budgets influence seriously global safety and can also have indirect influence on a broad spectrum of public life. The introductory chapter deals with the trend in global security situation. The next chapter characterizes the development of global armament spending from the end of WW2 till present time. In the next part of the work an analysis of the main weapons programs is carried out; the analysis covers countries with the biggest spending and the so called “trouble states”. In the next part there is an analysis of military budget of the Czech Republic. The thesis concludes with chapters that deal with the influence of military spending on global security and economic situation as a whole.
