Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá hlavní ženskou postavou románu The Romance of the Forest od Ann Radcliffe, který je jedním z prvních autorčiných románů. První část práce je zaměřena na život a tvorbu Anny Radcliffové. Druhá část práce se věnuje analýze Adeline a je rozdělena do několika částí. Abstract:
The given thesis deals with an analysis of a main character of Ann Radcliffe’s novel The Romance of the Forest. The first part is focused on Radcliffe´s life and work. The second part is the analysis of the novel, it describes Adeline, the main protagonist of the romance, her life and behavior when she deals with dangerous situations. The analysis also contains a man view of Adeline.
