Diplomová práce je ve své teoretické části zaměřena na charakteristiku vývoje metropolí a jejich zázemí a na popis mechanismů, které utváří funkční a prostorové vazby ve vzniklých metropolitních regionech. The diploma thesis focuses in its theoretical part on development characteristics of core cities and their hinterlands and description of the mechanisms that create the functional and spatial relations in growing metropolitan regions.
