The Project of Implementing a Milk run into the Supply Process for Assembly Workplaces in the Selected Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zavedení systému milk run pro zásobování oddělení montáže. Výstupem práce je analýza současného stavu, popis fungování a kalkulace systému milk run, který přispěje k hladkému a sofistikovanému způsobu zásobování montážních linek a uspoří jednoho pracovníka na každou směnu. V úvodu práce jsou definovány cíle a metody zpracování práce. Část teoretická je zaměřena na oblasti, kterými se zabývá projekt a jsou blíže popsány metody, které jsou v práci použity. Praktická část práce začíná před-stavením společnosti a pokračuje analýzou současného stavu zásobování montážních linek. V další části je definován projekt, popsána trasa vlaku, pravidla zásobování, kapacita vlaku a maximální stav vytíženosti vlaku. Na závěr je uvedeno zhodnocení projektu.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on implementation of the serial assembly department supply system called milk run. The outcome of this thesis is analysis of a current situation, describtion and calculation of a milk run, which will contribute to smoother and more sophisticated way of the assembly lines supply and which will save one worker per every shift of three. Goals and methods are defined in the introduction part. Theoretical part is focused on areas, which were solved in the project part and there are described the methods which were used. Practical part begins with company introduction and continues with analysis of the current assembly lines supply system status. In another part is defined project, described the milk run route, rules of the supply system, the train capacity and maximal workload of the train. The last part is summary of the project.
