Impact of physical activity on weight loss and body fat composition in obese patients after bariatric surgery

Abstract:

Obezita se aktuálně stává jedním z nejčastějších metabolických onemocnění dnešního světa. V důsledku životních podmínek a současného životního stylu se potýkáme s vážnou situací epidemického charakteru a stoupající trend výskytu obezity přináší současně velký zájem o řešení problematiky její léčby a především prevence. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá obezitou, bariatrickou léčbou obezity a následnou vhodnou pohybovou intervencí. Druhá část práce obsahuje literární rešerši z prozkoumaných zdrojů, které jsou zaměřeny na velmi důležité a prozatím málo prozkoumané téma vlivu pohybové aktivity na tělesné složení pacientů po bariatrické operaci a shrnuje poznatky o vhodné pohybové aktivitě a jejím dopadu na váhové úbytky a zdravotní stav pacientů.

Abstract:

In recent times, obesity is quickly becoming the most prevalent metabolic disorder of current times. Owing to the deteriorating quality of lifestyle and living conditions, we are starting to experience an impact of this disorder of almost epidemiological proportions. However, the positive trend in the prevalence of obesity has brought great interest to the general and academic community in solving this problematics, ranging from therapy to prevention. This bachelor thesis corroborates the topic of obesity, bariatric therapy and suitable intervention in a form of physical exercises. The latter part of the thesis contains a literature review from current sources, which are focusing on the impact of movement and physical exercises on the health of the patients after bariatric surgery. The thesis is trying to sort the current opinion on the topic and it's possible outcome such is weight reduction and improvement of the overall health of the patients.
