Role of apoplastic pH in plant response to stress

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá zejména rolí pH apoplastu v závislosti na stresu a reakcí buněk na tento modulační faktor. pH je jednou z nejdůležitějších vlastností vodního prostředí, která ovlivňuje celou řadu chemických procesů. V práci je uvedena souvislost pH s příjmem kyseliny abscisové, způsob jejího přenosu do buněk a změn v membránových potenciálech ovlivňujících příjem živin do buněk, ke kterým přispívá i změna pH, která je důsledkem celé řady stresových faktorů, jako stres suchem, změnou výživy dusíkem, přítomností patogenů a stres zasolením půdy nebo vliv anoxie a hypoxie.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis namely deals with the role of pH in apoplast in response to stress and the subsequent response of cells to this modulating factor. pH is one of the most important characteristics of the aquatic milieu, which influences a whole range of chemical reactions. In this treatise, the relation of pH to uptake of abscisic acid, the way of its transport to cells and changes in membrane potentials influencing the uptake of nutrients into cells are introduced, to which contributes the change in pH, which is the consequence of the whole range of stress factors as drought, change in nitrogen nutrition, presence of pathogens, salinity stress and impact of hypoxia and anoxia.
