Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá podnikatelskými aktivitami rodu Auerspergů během období 2. poloviny 19. století a 1. poloviny 20. století na území východních a středních Čech. Klíčovou osobou vymezeného časového úseku je kníže František Josef Auersperg, který byl v dané době hlavním hybatelem rozvoje daného regionu, a to nejenom z hlediskahospodářského, ale i z hlediska sociálního a kulturního.Cíl diplomové práce spočívá v seznámení se s podnikatelskými aktivitami tohoto šlechtického rodu v oblasticukrovarnictví na velkostatcích Nasavrky, Žleby a Hostačov právě za období správy knížeteFrantiška Josefa Auersperga.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis engages in business activities of the Auersperg family during thesecond half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century in Eastern and CentralBohemia. The key person of the defined period is Prince Franz Josef Auersperg, who can beseen as the main leader of the development in the region at that time. The development wasnot only economic, but also social and cultural.The aim of thethesis is to provide a transparent picture of business activities in the sugar estates Nasavrky,Žleby and Hostačov. It also deals with the influence of this noble family, especially PrinceFranz Josef Auersperg.
